@chiccychiccy @AmericanAir @united So I learned from this experience you have to specifically request to board early to get overhead space. Don’t get me started about boarding groups…

@chiccychiccy @AmericanAir @united I will say they are better than United. But it is disappointing that airlines keep adding unnecessary constraints to customers to save a few bucks.

Not the first time this has happened and the gate attendant was not interested in helping us. As we left we could hear her complaining about other customers.

Even though we communicated we needed to skip baggage claim @AmericanAir forced us to check our carry-on bags…got on the plane and there was plenty of overhead room. 😡
